Bear with me

Hello my wonderful swappers and readers!

It's been an absurdly busy few weeks, and with only 3 more work days until vacation, I'm out straight.
I keep accidentally putting on the crazy pants.
Come Saturday night I'll be a new human being as I kick off a two week family vacation in Maine.

The good news?
Once on vacation I'll have time to post new swaps, run some artist profiles, host a "Mail Art Monday" and catch up on lots of long-overdue correspondence.

The bad news?
I won't be able to pick up my mail and scan it and post it to the blog.
So if you've sent something for a swap and it didn't arrive in Massachusetts by August 9th, I won't be able to share it here until after I get home.
and the postal ATCs and envelopes will get mailed back to you a bit late.

So bear with me.
Things will be a little off-kilter around here for a while.

-K.

You can be as off-kilter as you'd like, MMSA Mistress! Enjoy that very well deserved vacation. It'll all be here when you get back, and everyone will have to anticipate the awesomeness that will happen, as soon as it can, in our mailboxes. :D
HAVE FUN!!

Back up to the Rangely Lake area? You know I envy you the two weeks in Maine...enjoy it. It's lovely this time of year, as I know you know. Have a good time and stay safe.

Agree with everyone above -- I don't know how you do all the scanning, posting and mailing but I'm sure glad you do it. And I can't wait to see what's in store for Mail Art Monday! Happy vacation. (Can I come?)

Pfffft! The world will not spin off it's axis if you take a well deserved break. Have a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation and don't worry your pretty little head about a thing. We're not going anywhere.

You are always fabulous and amazingly generous with your time and energy. Happy Vacation! Hope it's relaxing and rejuvenating. I seem to recall some peeps diorama photos from one of your earlier summers. (Or I might be imagining things.) Warmest wishes for a peep-happy break!

good memory, Karen! The whole family had the peeps-diorama challenge in 2011. My sister just said to me "if you're going to have any craft challenges this year could you give me advance warning in case I need pack a secret weapon?"

perhaps I should have said "even more off kilter than usual" :)

thanks Peggy. I'm such a nerd - I actually take my scanner/printer/copier on vacation!

oh my gosh - imagine if it DID spin off it's axis? something else to worry about while I'm wearing the crazy pants.
The irony, of course, is that I'll have oodles of time for the blog on vacation, but won't have any of the mailart!

Well of course we'll bear with you! How could we not? You've been so good to us! I think of you as our mail art mom! Enjoy every second of your vacation, please. Maine...mmmm. Would love to go there, myself.

Be safe and have a wonderful time with your family! I have a friend moving to Maine in a few months. I have never been, but I would love to go. Totally changing the subject, but I saw some amazing paper Christmas ornaments yesterday. Maybe that could be a fun swap for us.
Hugs, Ellen
