  1. NOTE: Sometimes viewers post a comment on an archived swap that is so far back, I doubt anyone will see it. Perhaps this confuses things, but I have started posting them second-handedly here, on the Comments page. Also, to help keep the Informal Swap page uncluttered, I am posting people's comments here instead of there. Honi

  4. Hi Sarah C. Your wonderful postcard landed in my mailbox this weekend. What a nice surprise. It is so very pretty with the roses and delicately cut papers. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I love random snail mail postcard drops and I am so lucky to have this one to keep.

  10. WELCOME NEW SWAPPERS! It seems we have quite a few new participants in the MMSA group swaps. I am happy to have you join us and hope you will have fun and find new friends. A few years ago I used to personally contact almost every new person who signed up on the Informal Exchange Page. Sadly I have been unable to keep up that tradition. If any of us can help or answer questions, don't hesitate to ask. Keep making art! Honi

  11. TO MY WONDERFUL GROUP SWAP GUEST-HOSTS: Please contact me via email with swap descriptions and pictures of sample(s) when you are ready, so we can post your swap theme announcements early, which helps our International participants to allow for transit-time when they send their art across the ocean. Thanks. Honi

  15. For their fun, colorful Twinchies, I want to thank my 8 swappers: Beau, Constance, Davida, Honi, Kathie Mc, Kathy M, Rose, and 7 yr old artist, Sammy. Thanks for juggling this swap, Beau! And to our artists, hosts, or any of our MMSA loved ones in Irma's path, I'm proceeding in faith that you'll remain as safe and sound as possible. Hope you'll check in soon and be able to return to blissful normalcy ASAP. -Veebee

  22. Lynn, I'm SO glad to hear that you survived. Sorry for the terrible devastation. I hope there are people and resources to help get things back to "normal." We haven't heard from Christie or Susan or... Sure hope they are going to be okay as well. Anything we can do? Concerned, Honi

  23. Honi, thanks so much! I saw on Instagram that Susan and Christie are ok. Thank goodness! We live so remote that they're predicting the 23rd for power to be returned. Not holding my breath, lol. We do have a generator, just enough to run fridge and fan and tv for football *of course, haha) all window a/c units are sold out everywhere. I'm painting out my discomfort outside trying to catch a breeze! :)

  25. Thank you, Joann, for "Hurry Along, Harvey". My husband and I love it so much we are framing it with your letter and hanging it up in our home. I was so touched. You don't know how much it means to us. There are still homes under water and major roads closed. Seems the news has moved on, but we are working hard to repair our homes and businesses. Many thanks. Leah
